Education · Digital transformation

Whole-school platform suite for an independent school

Client
Independent school, South-East London
Scope
Five integrated platforms
Services
Custom software · Automation · AI

Challenge

A growing school running critical operations — IT support, assessment reporting, communications, asset management and admin approvals — on disconnected spreadsheets, paper trails and inbox memory. Data lived in silos; every process depended on individual goodwill.

Approach

We designed and deployed five integrated platforms sequenced to prove value one workflow at a time: an AI-assisted IT service management platform, a structured assessment and reporting system, a school communications platform, a technology subscription and asset dashboard, and a workflow automation programme spanning onboarding, procurement and approvals.

Impact

  • Manual report assembly replaced by validated, consistent document generation
  • IT requests triaged with AI assistance under staff oversight
  • Live dashboards giving leadership operational visibility for the first time
  • The reporting platform attracted interest from other schools
AI platform · Education

EduAssist AI — from hackathon win to school pilot

Origin
1st prize, University of Greenwich & 6point6 hackathon
Scope
AI-assisted teaching platform
Services
AI transformation · Product build

Challenge

Teachers lose hours to planning, differentiation and administrative writing — time that should go to teaching. The challenge: could AI assist meaningfully without compromising professional judgement or pupil data?

Approach

EduAssist began as a hackathon-winning concept and was rebuilt from the ground up as a production pilot for a real school setting — AI-assisted planning and support tools with human judgement kept firmly in charge, deliberate scoping around sensitive data, and an architecture designed for a school's zero-budget reality.

Impact

  • First-prize validation from an industry and university judging panel
  • Rebuilt as a production-grade pilot deployment for classroom reality
  • Designed for teacher oversight — AI drafts, professionals decide
  • Architecture proves serious AI capability on a free-tier stack
Operations · Automation

Asset tracking that chases itself

Client
Education operations team
Scope
End-to-end tracking workflow
Services
Business process automation

Challenge

Spare access badges and equipment left the office faster than they came back. Tracking meant a manual log and a standing routine of chasing emails — small, constant operational friction that consumed staff attention every week.

Approach

A forms-based issue-and-return workflow feeding a live dashboard: what's out, who has it, what's overdue — with automated email reminders that escalate on schedule. Built entirely on the organisation's existing Google Workspace licences.

Impact

  • Manual chasing eliminated — reminders send and escalate themselves
  • Live operational view replaced the ledger-and-memory system
  • Zero new software licences required
  • Pattern reused across further tracking workflows
Community · Digital literacy

Digital confidence at community scale

Reach
20+ adult workshops across two venues
Plus
48+ pupil coding club sessions
Services
Education technology · Training

Challenge

Two connected gaps: adults locked out of digital services by low confidence, and young learners with appetite for technology but no structured pathway into it.

Approach

Two sustained programmes. A community digital literacy initiative delivering 20+ adult workshops across two venues — online safety, AI awareness, everyday cloud tools — in accessible language. And an AI & coding club running 48+ project-based sessions for learners aged 7–16, with ethics and responsible AI built into every project.

Impact

  • 20+ adult workshops delivered across two community venues
  • 48+ project-based club sessions for learners aged 7–16
  • Supporting letters and documented feedback from participants and venues
  • Full evidence pack: attendance, feedback, certificates, impact summary
